Parents of All 7th grade Students:
California's School immunization laws require that all students entering 7th grade have the following immunizations:
- Varicella (Two doses are required, one after the child's 7th birthday)
- Tdap (Tdap booster required prior to 7th grade entry)
All incoming 7th graders will be required to show proof of these immunizations prior to the first day of school, August 10, 2020. Any student without the required immunizations may be excluded from school and absences will be marked unexcused. A list of local pharmacies and clinic offering these vaccinations is available on our web-site, aesd.net. We would like to thank you if your child has already received these immunizations and you have submitted the proof to the school. IF your child has already received the immunizations but you have not submitted the verification, you may do so over the summer by emailing a copy of your child's immunization record to Beth Bartholomew, Director of the Student Services at firstname.lastname@example.org.
